Will McCain and Palin donate the profits?

They want to “drill baby drill” and they say it’s for America’s benefit. But who is really benefitting here? Drilling in Alaska will make TONS of money for oil companies and for the state of Alaska all of whom will vote for McCain/Palin. Hmmm, how convenient. If McCain and Palin really care about the interest of the American people, why don’t they donate ALL profits made from oil drilling to a charitable organization? Let that charitable organization distribute the money to the American people. As of right now, I don’t see how drilling in Alaska is going to benefit me. Even if it makes the price of gas goes down a few cents, I still won’t be making millions like the oil companies.
