Should I continue to life weights when I have a small subconjunctival hemorrhage?

I believe strenuous exercise caused a blood vessel to burst underneath my conjunctiva. Now there is a distinct red spot on my eye. Does this mean I have to stop working out? It might get worse if I continue to do so?
