yes it may seem that you are screwed...but what you can do is trade your current PSP in at like a game stop or another game store and get another fat PSP...wich will allow you to downgrade without the Pandora battery, (depending on the firmware version), and then you can upgrade to the lates version of CFW 4.01 M33-2 i belive is the most current. also if you still want the PSP light i believe you have go to the game store near you and see if they know of anyone who has the pandora battery and magic memory stick so that they could get you custom firmware...it's always woth a shot to ask around...good luck
