I'm trying to install the Adobe CS2 suite and am getting an error msg regarding my monitor. Way around this?

Error Msg says: "Adobe creative suite 2 needs your monitor to support a resolution of at least 1024x768 in order to run properly. Please connect a compatible display device then restart the installer"... I just bought a brand new monitor that is 1280x720, thinking it was a decent monitor. Is there any way around this stupid message?
