Why do people treat STD patients this way?

why do people treat people who have like aids and hiv like their angels and brave and all this other stuff for fighting for their life? they put them in the same category as people who have cancer. If you get aids or another std. unless your like d or something its your own stupid fault. its your fault for not getting checked and its your fault for not having your partner get checked. yeah most people wont get checked. but then when you get a disease you shouldnt run around crying expecting people to feel sorry for you. and yeah there are people who get it by being d or bad blood transfusions. but more often its from unprotected
