Why aren't snow boarders being asked to test their skills on REAL alpine events?

It's because snowboarders are infantile and still live with mommy and daddy. They are prone to following trends, and high speeds scare them. They will try to say that snowboarding is superior, however they rarely can ski worth ****, and they never justify their position with specific reasons. They think that the anti-establishment mindset they adopt immediately after the purchase of their board, is "cool". However, this attitude is the same one that causes them to buck the majority position of "heterouality" later in life.
