To the UK regs, does Islam concern you in your society?

Well I am a British Muslim who was born in the UK and have lived here all my life. Is that really true that the American media has made it sound like Islam is a major force in the UK? I think that's sad. Anyway, I can't really speak for the non-Muslims of the UK but don't think Islam is a major force in the UK. We Muslims only make up 2% of the population. That means 98% of the UK is non-Muslim. Here in the UK, sure we have mosques but I don't see how that is a major force. I think those who feel that Islam is a problem in the UK don't know any Muslims or don't live in areas where there are any Muslims so they probably get all their information from the media. Generally in the UK, Muslims and non-Muslims get along. Ofcourse there wll be bad apples on both sides but that's that. Most Muslims in the UK abide by the British law and just want peace.
