Saw movie gory? 13 year old watching it?(almost 14!)?

Is it just gory or is it actually scary? I was wanting to watch it today on my way into town..... I have a portable dvd player thats pretty small.....lol! Is it really really gory like on a scale of one-ten. And also, I would love some links to videos of some of the "gory" parts of the movie just to be prepared... I've seen most scary movies like the blair witch, exorcist, stephen king movies, shining, ect. But I'm terrified of saw!!! I don't mind blood but I've never watch a true SPLAT movie........... Help!!! I want to know everything about the gory stuff.............
