How long after I've removed infested material will it take for pantry moths to disappear?

Pantry moths were brought into my house on some cardboard from my garage that had been stored next to the bird seed. I've only seen the moths in my living room where the cardboard was placed behind the entertainment center. I haven't seen any moths anywhere near my pantry. I've thrown away the cardboard and emptied the pantry and put all the food in airtight containers. I bought hormone traps and placed them in the living room. It has been four days and I'm still seeing four or five moths a day. Did I miss something or do the moths take a while to go away? Could eggs be hiding in the back of my entertainment center?
