A friend of mine is pregnant i think?

according to the 1st day of her last period and some fertility shots and iui she had done, she was supposed to be 7 weeks. she went in for her sonogram today and they said its showing the sac with an yolk sac and is showing she would be only 5 weeks, what does this mean? does it mean that her pregnancy didnt progress any further past 5 weeks or should she be ok?
