Are Vocational School good?

im in 8th grade and i want to go this high school thats a vocational, are vocational schools good, whats the difference between a regular and a vocational, the high school i want to go to, it has a medical program where you get to work in hospitals before you graduate from high school, like if you want to be pharmacist, you get to work in wall greens or cvs. so what exactly are vocational schools, i heard its school for those who dont want to go to college, and its for trouble makers, but this high school is really good. its an A school. would you recommend vocational school for some one who wants to be a doctor.
