Where can I get rubber/metal (erosion control) mats to drive on sand dune?

I have to drive over a 45 foot section of dune sand in Rhode Island to get to a summer cottage, and today due to softnes of sand, only 4-wheel drive vehicles can make it; I am looking for rubber or metal (erosion control?) mats/ramp that I can lay on top of sand to allow non-4 wheel drive vehicles to drive across without digging into sand and getting stuck?
