Why are people from New York so rude?

Well I went NYC and I went Katz deli I walked in an they handed me a ticket I didn't know what to do with it and I politely asked what the ticket was for and the guy respond in a very sarcastic and loud tone then I am walking towards the empire state building when I sit next to sidewalk and zoned out so the man next to me turns and starts yelling at why I'm such a nosey b**** and more nonsense ... Also I'm not saying that everyone is like that because there were some nice people too

Street gangs and Mormon missionaries?

My son is currently serving a mission and has been sent to areas that normally would be dangerous for white Americans to be in and he says he is very careful, but doesn't worry too much because the people are God fearing and they know who the missionaries are. The missionaries have a reputation for giving service and while my son hasn't said that gangs protect the missionaries, he says they do leave them alone. But the missionaries certainly aren't immune to danger.

I am approaching mid 30s, don't exercise regularly (like once or twice a month), and rather lean at 60kg and 1.73m. I want to be fit, live long, and yet have a slightly beefier physique. Tks for advice.
